Spring

If Punxsatawny Phil could guarantee an early spring, shovels and bags of rock salt would be banished to a corner of the garage until they are resurrected again next winter, and we’d dig out our flip flops and outdoor decor. However, skepticism gnaws at our brains as too often we’ve been crushed by the sight of daffodils buried by a late March snowstorm. Still, the signs of spring that now pepper the stores entice me to get started on a change of scenery. A gentle nudge into springtime within our homes mirrors the weather itself as winter fades away and spring quietly creeps in. Simple items like a peony-scented candle, a bunch of tulips or a few wicker baskets mark the beginning of the transition from one season to the next. I could not resist picking up these sweet vases at Wegmans, and the sublime Emily Gunselman of Birch House Candles has done it again with this heavenly peony and magnolia diffuser. Our homes never looked so pretty or smelled so good.

I took your advice and I TREATED MYSELF!! I just ordered the diffuser as the fragrance sounds positively divine. As soon as it arrives it will feel like a piece of you has shown up in Oregon <3
